Cervical Pre-Cancer
I was diagnosed with cervical pre-cancer grade 2-3, caused by a high-risk viral strain. I consulted 7 different doctors about what I could do, and was told over and over again that I’d need to undergo surgery if I did not want it to turn into cancer in the following few months. I was told that it was too late for any other alternatives, including milder surgeries or lifestyle changes, and that any doctor that suggested otherwise would be putting me at great risk. I wanted to avoid said surgery due to potential future complications inherent to it, so I decided to look for other options.
I started getting treated by Jeff once a week for a month or so, through a combination of acupuncture and herbal medicine. Not only did my overall health improve drastically (general increase in energy, less issues with insomnia, mood stability) but my second biopsy results came back showing no trace of the initial infection. The treatment did not just regress the damage caused by the abnormal cells they’d found, it seems that it helped my immune system deal with the issue altogether. I repeat: NO TRACE OF THE INFECTION WAS FOUND. My gynecologist and I were both extremely surprised and I am beyond grateful that I no longer have to be monitoring the development of cancer cells in my body.
Jeff was always candid, attentive, punctual and thorough -a rarity among New York City providers. He made it so that getting treated weekly never felt like a chore as I knew I’d feel better right after.

IBS
As a lifetime sufferer from IBS, I sought out treatment from Jeff after a bad flareup. He devised an herbal formula to help calm the inflammation, gave dietary suggestions to help minimize the flares, and used acupuncture to heal and rebuild my system. I found this far more effective than any of the tools my gastroenterologist employed, plus I didn't need to deal with the side effects of prescription drugs. I highly recommend anyone with an ailment to give acupuncture a go. But like with any treatment- patience, an open mind, and the will to adjust your lifestyle- are necessary in order to see lasting results.

I had struggled with acne issues for the majority of my adult life and had tried a multitude of remedies ranging from visiting dermatologists, trying expensive skincare products, and adjusting various lifestyle components to no avail.
Finally, I gave acupuncture a shot by visiting Jeff who was an extremely attentive and patient provider. He reviewed my history meticulously and really listened to all of my concerns. He understood that it was my first experience with acupuncture and always ensured that I was comfortable before executing a technique or suggesting an herbal supplement. Ultimately I received several rounds of needling along with herbal medication that cleared up my skin tremendously.

Post-Viral Syndrome
Jeff is an incredibly talented acupuncturist and herbalist. He has rapidly solved many of my otherwise unsolvable physical problems, from chronic allergies to anxiety, back pain to headaches. This fall I had a month-long, antibiotic-resistant illness. I finally saw Jeff and was feeling better in two days. He has a serene and dry presence, ideal for a doctor in my book. So kind, accommodating, understanding, thoughtful, a very easy and comfortable person to interact with. I have complete confidence in him. He has also successfully helped a number of my family members with things like acne and urinary tract infections. He does it all!
